I hope that progress has been made toward getting it to the level of France, Germany, or Sweden.Rob MacDonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17050545070418063352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030144909492747445.post-983592759391587192011-07-01T05:56:19.547+04:002011-07-01T05:56:19.547+04:00As someone who spent the majority of her life livi...As someone who spent the majority of her life living along the border of Mexico, I will offer the experiences that I have personally seen. A county hospital will not turn anyone away, even knowing you cannot pay. I have sat in waiting rooms where at least 60% were illegal. They were seen and treated. I also have family that works in hospitals, never were the uninsured denied care in a county hospital. That is not to say they received top care, likely not (it is county after all). But they do receive care. Is the US medical system perfect, absolutely not! There is a lot wrong, but it is certainly not bad.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030144909492747445.post-42875703471459646472011-02-17T15:12:44.672+03:002011-02-17T15:12:44.672+03:00Hi Anonymous,

I just visited Russia again. Amazing the only people I met who could not see other points of view were 2 USA citizens. Same on a trip to China last year. China is not perfect [what country is] but in that month the most obnoxious one eyed person I met was a USA citizen again. A self righteous arsehole. A person who could not see any other point of view but his own perverted view. Not one ounce of balance. I see this all the time on USA media - USA types who deliberately twist the facts and lie to prove there now completely discredited policies and view of the world despite being proved most times wrong in the last 50 years.<br />I understand not all USA people are like this and I sympathise with those people in the USA who have been forced to live with these attitudes. As for reasoned balance the USA is hopeless overall. Russians and the Russian Government would kill them in all ways. Evidenced again by the USA attitude to the recent Georgian Invasion.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
